Phase 2A Habitat for Humanity Affordable Home Ownership Program

A new program from Habitat for Humanity and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) is about to begin.
Six affordable ownership units in the new condo building being built by Tridel, located at Dundas Street West and Denison Avenue, are available to eligible TCHC Alexandra Park and Atkinson Co-op residents.
Families who have a minimum household income of $63,000 can apply to buy an apartment with no down payment:
- An opportunity for tenants to own a new condo unit in Alexandra Park and grow wealth.
- An opportunity to earn interest on a 25-year mortgage and get investment back.
TCHC has partnered with the Credit Counselling Society (CCS) to provide one-to-one supports to TCHC Alexandra Park and Atkinson Co-op residents who are interested in submitting applications for the Habitat for Humanity Affordable Home Ownership Program. Learn more on the Credit Counselling Society website.
Application Deadline Extended to Thursday, August 8, 2024!
The program is still open and accepting applications. We highly encourage interested residents to apply to this unique opportunity.
If you are interested, please view a recorded presentation that covers all program details.
After viewing the presentation, please contact Jade Shulist at 437-922-3303 or jade.shulist@torontohousing.ca if you would like to be connected to the Habitat for Humanity team to continue in the application process.
Please note that residents who submitted applications by the original deadline (Monday, July 8) will be prioritized by Habitat for Humanity, and will not enter random selection if there are more than six qualified applications received from the Alexandra Park community.
