Make your Mark in Regent Park!

Toronto Community Housing (TCHC)— Canada’s largest and North America’s second-largest provider of social housing—continues to lead one of the largest urban revitalizations of its kind in its Regent Park community, a 69-acre housing complex in the heart of Toronto.

Planning for Phase 4 and 5 of the five-phase Regent Park revitalization project is currently underway.

These final phases of the project offer exciting new opportunities for designers, consultants, and other innovative development professionals to be a part of the team transforming aging infrastructure in Regent Park into a mixed-income, mixed-use neighbourhood designed to celebrate the rich history of the community and create prosperity for its residents.

Want to be a part of this exciting project in the heart of Canada’s largest City?

Opportunity

Regent Park Energy Strategy & District Energy System

Toronto Community Housing is seeking an interdisciplinary consulting team to advise on the reimagining of a long-term energy strategy and the expansion of the Regent Park District Energy System as part of the final two phases of community revitalization.

The successful proponent will provide cutting-edge ideas and advise on the creation of a low- or zero-carbon energy (heating and cooling) energy system for an expanded District Energy System in Regent Park.

A zero-carbon energy strategy is a centrepiece of TCHC’s plans for the revitalization of Regent Park community into a sustainable, mixed-use urban district. New energy assets will heat, cool, and provide domestic hot water for residential and non-residential facilities, including multi-unit market and affordable rental buildings, and retail and institutional spaces.
